I’m kind to a fault sometimes but I believe in treating people the way I’d want to be treated. I don’t want to look back at my life and wish I had treated someone better. I want to look back and think “I treated them better than they deserved.”
I can be neutral (like Switzerland)
Sometimes taking sides is not the answer. I like to think I can be neutral when needed; a calm influence in the midst of a storm.
I’m an encourager
I see myself as a cheerleader for those in my life; encouraging them in their endeavors, in their mountain top experiences and when they’re in the pits.
I’m a happy person by nature. But many things also contribute to my happiness: friends, family, career, faith, goals, good health, etc…
I like change, (although my husband doesn’t embrace it a much as I do) but I also like somewhat of a routine and the ability to plan ahead. Too much of any one thing is boring.
This goes along with “I like change.” I love new experiences, meeting new people, new challenges, expanding my comfort zone and doing not-so-common things. Not many people in my circle want to take a 20+ mile bike trip on the Pere Marquette Rail Trail. But that’s what I want to do.
