"Brrr," she whined.
Winter, more specifically, cold temperatures and trying not to complain about it.
Winter is upon us here in mid-Michigan. Not so much the snow but the cold temperatures; it was 26 degrees F when I went to work at 6:15 a.m. this morning.
I am a heat-mizer. The hotter the better! I sleep in a heated Hibernation Series waterbed, with a man that has the body temperature of the Equator and multiple blankets and I love it!
So it takes me a while (months, sometimes) to get used to used to the cold. And, I saw a bumper sticker on a minivan at Wal-mart last month: "The more you complain, the longer God makes you live." That says to me, "Stop complaining!"
So I'm trying to do as my daughter Angie says, "We just have to make friends with it (winter)."
So to Old Man winter I say, "Welcome! But don't stay too long."
